Customer: “My water heater is leaking.”
AI: “I can get a tech to you this afternoon — does 2pm work?”
SMS Agent

Real Emergencies Go to a Real Human. You.
A gas smell at 3 a.m. is not a booking conversation. The AI detects true emergencies — gas leaks, active flooding, electrical fires, no heat in freezing temps — plus complaints, $5k+ quotes, and anyone who asks for a human. Then three things happen at once:
The customer reaches you
The AI live-transfers the call straight to your cell. No callback queue, no “leave a message.”
You get the full context
At the same time, you get an SMS with the caller's name, phone number, the reason for the call, and a summary of the conversation.
Nothing falls through
Even if you can't pick up, the full summary is already on your phone — you call back knowing exactly what's going on.
Books into the tools you already use.
Booked jobs land on your calendar and in your records — no double entry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will customers know they're talking to AI?
If they ask, yes — the AI is upfront that it's an automated assistant, and call handling follows standard two-party-consent rules. What customers notice in practice is different: the phone gets answered in under 2 seconds, on the first ring, at 9 p.m. on a Sunday. The conversation is natural — it asks the same qualification questions a good front desk would, checks your real availability, and books the job. We don't try to trick anyone, and we don't need to. Most callers care about one thing: someone picked up and their problem is getting handled.
What happens in an emergency?
The AI is trained to recognize true emergencies — a gas smell, active flooding, an electrical fire, no heat in freezing temps — along with complaints, quotes over $5k, and anyone who simply asks for a human. When any of those happen, it live-transfers the call to your cell and simultaneously sends you an SMS with the caller's name, phone number, the reason for the call, and a summary of the conversation. If you can't pick up, you still have the full context to call back immediately. Emergencies never sit in a voicemail box.
Does it work with my scheduling software?
Today the AI Front Desk syncs two ways with Google Calendar and Google Sheets, integrates with Jobber and Housecall Pro (both in beta), and handles invoicing through Stripe. It reads your live availability before offering a time, then writes the booked job back — no double entry. If you run your schedule on something else, talk to us before you sign up and we'll tell you honestly whether your setup works today or what the workaround looks like. We'd rather lose the sale than surprise you in week two.
Can it handle several calls at once?
Yes. The AI Front Desk isn't one receptionist working one line — every caller gets answered immediately, even when three people call during the same storm. There's no busy signal and no hold queue. Each conversation gets the same treatment: qualified, checked against your real availability, and booked or escalated. This is the structural advantage over a human front desk or an answering service, where the second caller hears voicemail. The second caller is often the job you'd never know you lost.
What happens to my customer data?
Your data stays yours. Call records, customer details, and bookings live on encrypted US-based infrastructure, and we don't sell or share them with anyone. You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time — just ask. When you connect Google Calendar, we use that access only to read free/busy availability and write confirmed bookings, nothing else. The full details are in our privacy policy, written in plain English rather than forty pages of boilerplate.
